Aging Well Finder is a human-curated directory of products, services, and clinicians that help older adults age in place. We start in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Vancouver, with vendors we've researched and would consider for our own families.

How we curate

Most directories are pay-to-play. Ours isn't. Listings are reviewed by hand before they go live. We decline more than we accept. Our standard is simple: would we send our own parent to this provider?

What's paid, what's not

• Featured listings are paid. They get placement and a lead form. They are clearly labelled.
• Some product links earn us a commission. We only list what we'd buy ourselves.
• Contributor posts are paid by the contributor and clearly labelled. Editorial can ask for revisions or decline.
• Editor's notes, guides, and the directory's editorial copy are never sponsored.

What we won't publish

• Medical claims, treatment recommendations, or anything that should come from a clinician.
• Plagiarized or paraphrased work from other educators.
• Vendors whose practices we wouldn't recommend to family.
